The Directorate of Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI), Health Department, Government of Sindh, has announced exciting career opportunities under EPI-PEI Synergy. To enhance vaccination rates among eligible population groups and eradicate polio, applications are invited from dynamic and qualified candidates for contractual positions of Union Council Immunization Officers (UCIOs) (Male/Female) across Karachi and Hyderabad divisions.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, Health Promotion, Nutrition and Dietetics, Nursing, Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D), Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Molecular Biology/Molecular Medicine, Biotechnology/Biosciences, Microbiology, Psychology, or Food Science & Technology. A Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) is preferable.
- Experience: Preferably 1–2 years of experience in community-based health initiatives, outreach activities, field surveys, or public health programs (specifically EPI, Polio campaigns, TCV, MR, and HPV).
- Local Domicile: Must possess a valid local domicile of the concerned Town/District, along with demonstrated familiarity with local geography and population dynamics
- Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 28 years as of 20 November 2026 (with a 5-year age relaxation as per government rules/policy).
