Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad Jobs 2026 QAU Apply Online
Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad has announced exciting new employment opportunities for Pakistani nationals. Applications are invited for various staff positions under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) project funded by the Planning Commission, Government of Pakistan.
The project is titled “Establishment of China-Pakistan Joint Research Centre (CPJRC) on Earth Sciences” and is being executed directly at the QAU campus. These positions are purely on a contract basis.

- Accountant / Accounts Officer (PPS-7)
- Computer Operator (PPS-6)
- Quantity Surveyor (PPS-6)
- Sub Engineer (PPS-5)
- Assistant (PPS-5)
- Attendant / Office Attendant (PPS-1)
Terms and Conditions
- Nature of Job: The appointments will initially be made for a period of one year. Extensions are subject to satisfactory performance and annual review until the completion of the project.
- Regularization: These roles are purely project-based and do not confer any right to regularization or permanent appointment.
- Government Employees: Applicants already working in Government/Semi-Government Organizations or Autonomous Bodies must apply through the proper channel with a Service Certificate and an NOC issued by their current employer.
- Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test or interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS & HOW TO APPLY
- 1. Download the application form from the official website of Quaid-i-Azam University at www.qau.edu.pk or obtain it directly from the Administration Section/Admin Block of the University.
- 2. Deposit the application fee via Bank Draft / Pay Order (any bank) or through a Bank Challan at the HBL Quaid-i-Azam University Branch. The fee structure is:
- Serial No. 01 to 02: Rs. 2,000/-
- Serial No. 03 to 06: Rs. 1,000/-
- Serial No. 07: Rs. 500/-
- Note: The fee should be drawn in favor of the Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
- 3. Attach 2 attested photographs, copies of your experience certificates, educational testimonials, domicile, and CNIC along with the original fee deposit receipt/draft.
- 4. Send the completed application packet to the office of the Additional Registrar, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad during office hours.
Important Deadline: Applications must reach the office within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication date. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
