Free laptops and a monthly stipend for matriculated women
Lahore: A Rs 700 million ‘e-Learn She Earn’ program has been launched for women, under which matriculated women will be able to get laptops and monthly stipends.
According to the details, the Punjab government has introduced a comprehensive program called ‘e-Learn She Earn’ to provide online work and digital business opportunities to women across the province.
The aim of this program is to empower women economically by teaching them technology skills according to market demand.
Under this project, selected women will be given three months of free online training, which includes skills in digital marketing and e-commerce, online product sales and brand management, visual storytelling through creative tools in graphic designing.
In addition, virtual assistants, i.e. providing administrative support to international clients, and professional training in online customer relationship management, are also included.
Free laptops, monthly stipend, internet facility and professional certificates will be provided to overcome the financial and technical barriers faced by women during training.
Eligibility and How to Apply
Age Limit: 15 to 35 years however (relaxation up to 40 years for some courses).
Permanent resident women of Punjab who have CNIC or B form.
Education Minimum Matric or Intermediate.
Interested candidates can register online through Punjab Information Technology Board portal eearn.pitb.gov.pk or Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) website. Selection will be made on the basis of merit and aptitude test.
