Role & Responsibilities
- The Director General (DG) will act as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE). Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic leadership to advance educational research and development.
- Driving policy innovation and sector planning across the country.
- Overseeing national assessment frameworks and monitoring standards.
- Implementing evidence-based educational reforms in Pakistan.
Contract Duration & Pay Scale
- Tenure: The appointment will initially be on a contract basis for three (03) years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and approval by the competent authority.
- Pay Scale: Standard MP-I Scale terms and conditions as outlined in the MP Scales Policy, 2020 and Finance Division’s guidelines apply.
