Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS / MLS) from an HEC-recognised institution.
- PhD in a relevant field is strongly preferred and will carry significant weight.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive leadership in an academic, research, or multi-campus library, including at least 3–5 years in a senior/managerial role
- Proficiency in KOHA / Evergreen ILS, DSpace / EPrints repositories, and metadata standards (MARC 21, Dublin Core, RDA).
- Active membership in PLA, IFLA, SLA, or ALA is highly desirable
